Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

• Account info - name, email, password hash, and login method.
• Resume content - files you upload (PDF, DOCX) or text you paste, plus parsed fields (skills, roles, dates, locations).
• Job-post content - descriptions or URLs you paste in to optimize for.
• Usage data - actions you take in the app, credit balance, and the versions you create. We keep aggregate analytics to improve the product.
• Billing data - handled by our payment processor. We store only the last 4 digits of your card and the transaction ID.

• Run the core service: score, rewrite, and tailor resumes.
• Generate the personalized job match feed.
• Apply credit balances and issue receipts.
• Send account, security, and product-update emails.
• Detect abuse and prevent fraud.

• We do not train AI models on your resume content.
• We do not sell your data to recruiters, employers, advertisers, or any third party.
• We do not share your resume with employers or job boards on your behalf.

We share data with a small set of vetted vendors strictly to deliver the service:

• Cloud hosting - where the app and database run.
• AI provider - for resume scoring and rewrites; content is processed but not retained for training.
• Payment processor - for billing and refunds.
• Email provider - for transactional messages.

Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and may only process data on our instructions.

Resume content is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is limited to a small number of engineers on a need-to-know basis, with audit logging. We retain resume versions for as long as your account is active so you can come back to them; inactive accounts are purged after 24 months of no activity.

Under RA 10173 you can request to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to specific processing. From the app you can:

• Download every resume version you created.
• Delete any version, or your entire account, in one click.
• Disable product-update emails (transactional emails always go through).

For anything we cannot resolve, you may contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph).

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider (no third-party ad tracking, no fingerprinting). You can clear cookies any time from your browser.

AI Resume Optimizer is not directed at users under 16. If we learn a child created an account, we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
